Martina Murphy Solicitors are based in Dooradoyle/Raheen and also in Castletroy. We are large enough to ensure your matter will be dealt with by a specialist solicitor but small enough to ensure that our clients are treated in a kind, courteous and transparent manner. Martina Murphy

Principal Solicitor

Martina Murphy is a graduate of the University of Limerick.
She founded her own practice in 2007. As well as being a solicitor Martina is also an accredited mediator.

Martina has a particular interest in family law, mental health law and education law.

Martina is married to Ivan and lives in County Limerick with her three young boys.

Antoinette Cusack

Associate Partner

Antoinette Cusack is a graduate of the University of Limerick.
She joined the practice in September 2010.
Antoinette specialises in Personal Injury Litigation and Employment Law.
Antoinette is married to Adrian and they have two boys.

Alva Cronin

Associate Partner

Alva Cronin is a graduate of  University College Cork.
She joined the practice in 2012.
Alva has a keen interest in Conveyancing and Probate.
Alva has one beautiful daughter.

Caroline Kennely

Practice Manager

Caroline Kennelly joined the practice in 2014.
She is an enthusiastic and efficient member of our team.
She ensures there is a kind word and warm welcome given to each client when they phone or visit the office.
Caroline also ensures that the office is run in a smooth and calm manner.
Caroline is married to Richie and they have one bundle of joy, Hannah.

Yvonne Nolan

Solicitor

Yvonne Nolan is a specialist Family Law Solicitor. She returned to Ireland last year having worked in the family law department of a leading legal firm in London. Yvonne brings a wealth of knowledge to the position and is especially strong in the areas of international law, Hague Convention matters, surrogacy adoption and gender law.   Yvonne is married with one very busy toddler. In her spare time she is busy completing her new home and is a dedicated Limerick GAA fan. 

Roisin O’Connell

Solicitor

Roisin O’Connell obtained an honours degree in Bachelor of Civil Law in 1997, qualifying as a solicitor in 2001. With her proven track record in obtaining excellent results for personal injury clients and efficiently dealing with residential property transactions in a timely basis, individuals are well cared for.

Roisin further developed expertise in business, employment, and commercial contracts. Her depth of knowledge and experience includes helping SMEs with all their legal requirements such as commercial leases, employment, commercial contracts, online terms and conditions of trading and commercial property transactions.

Her experience is complemented by having obtained diplomas in Employment Law, Commercial Contracts, Corporate Law and Governance, Commercial Conveyancing and Property Tax. To obtain a better insight into the needs of SME’s, Roisin also completed a diploma as in-house lawyer with the law society of Ireland.

Roisin is married with two young girls and two dogs. 

Lynda Ivess

Legal Secretary

Lynda joined the practice in 2017. She is an experienced Legal Secretary who works primarily for Martina. Lynda also assists with the accounts in the office and is responsible for payroll. She ensures timelines are adhered too and that all client queries have been dealt with by the appropriate Solicitor.

Lynda is married to Paudie and they have three children. They have recently purchased a house and are busy renovating and decorating same. 

Shirley Cossavella

Legal Executive

Shirley has over 25 years experience in all areas of legal administration. Shirley was a Paralegal in SA and a Legal Secretary/PA in Ireland. She completed courses in SA, including a Third Level in Computers and another in Trade and Industry. She is an excellent support to all her colleagues in the office.

Shirley’s husband’s name is Adrian and they have 2 adult children. A few of her interests include photography, swimming, running/walking, gardening and reading. She enjoys going to the local gym and attending rugby games with her husband and family.
